"Molot" and "Limiter №6" plugins page (and Tokyo Dawn Labs stuff too)

Limiter6 beta is not ready yet.

Hi all! I’m really overloaded and I have not enough free time to complete Limiter6 beta.

First, I want to post some “fan-art” stuff for alpha version.

1. Blue skin by Ade Emsley. Use it with alpha version if you like it.

[Limiter6 alpha with blue theme (Windows 32-bit and 64-bit versions)]

[Limiter6 alpha with blue theme (Mac OS X 32-bit version)]

(NOTE: Mac OS X version has small bug. If you change “Dry Mix” parameter with mouse wheel it’s OK. But it you change it with mouse drag the shown parameter value is not updated.)

2. Cleaned up Limiter6 manual by Paul Schwartz

[Limiter6 manual]

3. I almost completed photo-realistic version of GUI. There’re some draft screenshots:

And this is something original. Japanese GUI translation! Thanks to Ryoma Nishiyama.

Also some working moments:

Sorry for a long waiting but I try to complete it as soon as possible. See you soon!

i´ve tried to make a gui too but i don´t know how to combining the photo with the gui to get it to work. sorry

Well, that’s a BIG user interface.

Not fan of it this time, looks too “draft”, sorry.

Huge sound, huge gui!🙂 Maybe around 70% of the current size would be ok? Anyway, no matter what it looks like till it sounds great and the interface supports a fast workflow. And as I’m looking at the draft there’s nothing to complain about really.

Few little gui improvements that could make it more realistic:
    – removing those ugly glares on meters (next to number 1)
    – add some rust/scratches here and there to add some mojo

my point also go to 16 its big enough

    where’s kazakh gui translation?😀
would paint red and call “serp”

I had idea to make german GUI translation too but germans use english terms in audio. So english, japanese and russian translations are obvious.

I think this plugin sounds too soft to call it “serp”.

i´m from italy now in germany. i think for me its no problem to understand the english words😉

my english is bad but i think i will get it

  10. alex 2012/05/24 at 01:51

yes totally right i don´t know any german word that is different to english in audio stuff

I love the new gui. It goes perfectly with Molot, as does the name Serp, in keeping with that old school Russian military vibe. The smallest size is big enough on my monitor.

BTW, I hope you’ll consider my suggestion to make the slow compressor -> fast limiter routing reversible, as I believe this unit would make a great vocal processor as well, if the FL/HF section preceded the slow compressor. It sounds very good already.

so you have plenty of visitors and fans probably-what about donations?!

from now each copy with out activation via donation contains “Rhaphanus sativus edition” mark in corner😀

    • vladgsound 2012/05/26 at 00:28

About donations I can tell they are enough to think my plugins are useful but not enough to bother about it🙂 But I don’t want to force users to donate by annoying messages in plugins.
